Shibori is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique used on textiles to create patterns that spread unevenly across the fabric; the result is patterns that are uneven and show the Japanese appreciation of the beauty in imperfection.

I have rescued sections of Egyptian cottons, super soft pieces and dyed them in the shibori method.  Each piece is unique and can be repurposed for a multitude of ways.  I have been taking these sections for years from a friend who sews custom shirts and finding ways of bringing them into my life; wrist bands, quilting, head bands, bag handles, bandanna, dog scarf, used as patches, kids scarf, wrapping small gifts, napkins, hand cloth, and have even gifted them in a frame.

Each section is a different size, please find the listing coordinated with the numbers in the images. These all have raw edges, as this is the way I found them and find they gently wear with a fringe effect but will never unravel.

No. 2 is roughly cut to a 14" x 14"
