This contrasting painting is a powerful piece, and brings a dramatic effect to a room. The details on the betta are enhanced with the heavy use of linseed oil giving in it a heavier, glossy look. Despite the weight of the deep hues of ebony and Prussian blue, the painting is balanced with a soft Naples orange background to bring this painting to an advanced level.
